Last weekend, Takuma, Jihang and me. We went Chinatown that has summer festival and that day has bad weather. Actually, summer festival that was created by two campany, one is mcdonald's another one is about gamble. It's interestiong thing. that is company could give you a free cap, but you need join a game that is rotated plate, you must be win prize a cap became of is 100%. So we lined up the this game, and we waited for 30 minutes. Finally, should be us to get a cap, but they need 21 years old person join this game. So we are really upset. I consider this game is so boring. Then we went to The Seattle Public Library and createds. Well-know, it is wonderful place that has red-room, and mant computers which are for free. Finally, we were back home. Of course that is boring!

Everyone has dream. One day, became a celebrity or success, but not all people like this. A part of people just want to happiness that is a perfect family or enjoy live. But I have my mind that is if became a famous man. First, I don’t really want to become a celebrity, but if I can I will do it. Because I consider most of things base on fortune that need you to work hard or struggle! So famous businessman is my admire most, they get much fortune by struggle. At the same time, they create much fortune to social. But if I become a celebrity, can I get happiness? I am not sure, a part of businessman could be succeeding by themselves, but they all get real happiness? Answer is not! They can not get real happiness although they own fantastic fortune. They are still lonely, no mind, no love, no happiness, nothing! Second I consider more important is celebrity, because they can do more things for social or create more fortune. If someone just put energy on “beauty”, well-known this world appear so shallow. In summery, I hope everyone can get real happiness by struggle, and not shallow.

Independence Day

Today, it’s a special day. July 4^th, it is American Independence Day. In the world history United State built in July 4^th in 1776. History recorded this time. My family host takes us to eat BBQ. It is so delicious. First everyone was really happy. My family host told me American history that is about America how to cast off colonizing domination of England, such as Lexington city, Philadelphia, The First Continental Congress, The Second Continental Congress and famous The Declaration of Independence. I know American how to get bigger land. Actually, America just had 13 states before America became an independence country. Then, we went to the experience music project museum, I saw the guiter tornado, and I fond out many famous musician, even move important I saw the Michael Jackson’s clothes! But, we just stay in museum a few minutes. Because it was crowed. Finally, in the night my host family told me that it has fire works. But we want to watch it on TV. I have never seen like this fire works! It has much kind of fair works! I consider, this is the best fair works in my lift. In summary, I have a good day-July 4^th!

living in seattle

There are three major reasons why I like living in seattle. First of all, the enverionment is so nice. I consider this environment better than in my country. It is well-known that china is a country of development, so it has too many industrial companies and therefore many environmental problems to solve. Pollution is a big problem in china. many cites have this problem in china such as TIAN JIN and SHANG HAI. However, Seattle is very beautiful. it has clear air, and it often rains, so many trees are very green. Sometime you can even find some animals on the street at night. if the sun shines, Seattle becomes more beautiful. flowers bloom and birds "sing". It helps people to relax. Second, i feel people in Seattle are very friendly. For example, one day I lost my way when I just came to Seattle. I was so sad and in a hurry. I didn't know what I should do. I had no idea. then I tried to ask a person walking on the street. The man was so friendly. He told me how to get back home, and he called his friends to help me.this not all. If I meet manyAmericans, I can feel American culture. Learning more American culture, and comfortable with American custom. Can help me to improbe my English level. The last reason is I like American culture. I know the American dream to be self made and independent. It's so exciting. I also like American movies. Some American movies reflect the American dream such as "Rocky". I think maybe "struggle" is the American dream. In summary, I like living in Seattle. I like the "American dream"!!!

My name is Steven, and I'm 19-year-old. I am studing in SCCC now. I was born in Dalian that is one of city in China. My family has 3 members is that my partents and me. of course, I am only child. My hobbies are read book and play basketball. I speak English and chinese, but my English is not very good. So I am studying ESL in SCCC now. SCCC is my first school in US, and I haven't plan to transfer to other school. I would like to learn subject is about business or psychology, but I don't like math. So I have to learn English very hard. I want to became a succeed businessman like my father. so I choice go abroad to US. I want to get better education.
